Microwave wireless systems can be deployed to provide access networks in two basic architectures. When two locations far away wish to connect together wirelessly, they often do so using Point-to-Point techniques. If multiple locations need connections together, a Microwave Point-to-Multipoint technique is used. Either of these two methods includes using a dish that broadcasts and receives in only one specific direction.
